What does a trade teacher do?
As a trade teacher, you share your extensive trade knowledge, skills and experience to develop the next generation of tradespeople.
You encourage and mentor students, helping them to succeed in their chosen trade area. In training and assessing students, you will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of locations such as classrooms, workshops and in the field, using different training tools and techniques. Your role may see you contribute to developing trade training in consultation with industry.
