Attractive Salary Package
Salary is payable in accordance with the TAFE Teachers' Award, State and rises with experience and qualifications. This includes 12.75% in superannuation contributions and annual leave loading.
If you have teaching qualifications beyond Certificate IV Training and Assessment, you may be eligible to commence on a higher salary level. A salary assessment will be provided. Annual increments may apply to your salary and you will receive an additional pay increase under negotiated enterprise bargaining agreements.
Professional Development Opportunities - We will train you to teach!
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is required to become a TAFE teacher.
Our trade teachers are able to continue their professional development in industry while gaining the benefits of working for a training organisation. You will have access to ten days of paid industry professional development leave each year. One option is to use this allocation to maintain currency in your trade.
